Mr. Tom McCollom Sr.

Mr. Thomas Robert McCollom, Sr., born May 31, 1934, to the late Turner D and Ruth McCollom, passed away May 18, 2021 at his home. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his siblings, as well as his oldest daughter, Jana, and his son, Jarrod. He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life, his wife Linda, his daughter Mignon Roucloux and her husband Albert, son, Thomas McCollom Jr., daughter, April Leath and her husband Steven, and daughter, Rachel Baugher and her husband Mike. Also his grandchildren, Larry LeBlanc, Mindy Bolado, Regina Ramirez, Michelle Ramirez, James and Alexander Shows, Michael & Zadie Baugher; along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; also his brother-in-law, Randy Carroll and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Carroll. Thomas was a skilled electrician who worked for years with HB Zachary, Gregg Industrial and Lowes. He finally permanently retired at the age of 85. He loved his family, both physical and spiritual. One of the favorite things that Tom loved to do was to talk to people about his loving God, Jehovah and the wonderful hope that he gives us. One of his favorite scriptures was Matthew 6:33 – “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you.” This was one of the things that kept his faith strong in his heavenly Father, Jehovah, knowing that God’s Kingdom would bring about all the wonderful promises that Tom loved to share with everyone that he came in contact with, including the hope of everlasting life in a wonderful new world, without death, pain, or suffering. (Revelation 21:3,4) Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Leath, Mike Baugher, Brian Sisk, Tommy McCollom Jr., Billy Gipson, and Daryl Andrews.
