Mr. Kenneth W. Miley

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth W. Miley, 77, of Brachfield, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Underwood and Tad Titlow officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 23, at the church. Mr. Miley passed from this life on June 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born May 8, 1946, in Henderson to the late Buck and Geneva (Bradbury) Miley. Mr. Miley was raised in Pasadena, Texas and lived in College Station for a time. Once a Marine always a Marine, Kenneth proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. In 1976, Mr. Miley and his family moved back to Rusk County and he opened Global Graphics which he owned and operated for 20 years. He would go on to attend the Kilgore Police Academy and was elected as Constable for Rusk County Precinct 3 and served in that capacity for nearly 20 years. He also worked as a Bailiff at the Rusk County Courthouse and was widely respected in his position as Constable and Bailiff. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed farming. He was also a loving grandfather and was faithful to attend all of his grandchildren’s events. Kenneth had been a long-time member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise and had previously served as church treasurer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harold Timmons and brother-in-law, Eddie Strube. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Becky Miley of Brachfield; mother-in-law, Faye Timmons of Brachfield; sons, Robert Miley and wife Dina and their daughter Reagan Alexus of Tyler, David Miley and wife Savannah and their children Madison and husband Bryce, Mika, Mason, and Gavin, and Kevin Miley and fiancé Faith Lee and their children Kolton, Kullen, Ava, and Allison; brother, Keith Miley and wife Terri of Pasadena; sisters, Wanda Adams and husband Sonny of Pasadena, and Anita Woolley and husband Gaylon of Pasadena; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Johnny Penney, Ted Hooten, Troy Runquist, Sid Knight, Gaylon Woolley, Dustin Wright, Jim Hooten, Jody Creel, Sonny Adams, and Bro. Jim Nixon.
