Mrs. Jane Parker Glasscock

Funeral services for Jane Parker Glasscock, 79, of Henderson, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. David Higgs officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Mrs. Glasscock entered into her heavenly home on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. It was a meaningful day, as she was welcomed into glory and reunited with her mother on her birthday. Jane was born on November 1, 1945, in Henderson, and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and was a devoted homemaker whose greatest fulfillment came from serving and nurturing the people she loved most. Jane leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith and a heart that always placed the needs of others before her own. She poured her love, wisdom, and grace into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She endured a long illness with quiet strength and lived each day with courage, inspiring everyone who knew her. Her life was marked by gentleness, steady devotion, and a selfless spirit that will continue to live on in those she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Christine Parker, and her brother, Jerry Parker. Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Johnny Ray Glasscock; her son, Jeff Glasscock and wife Shawna of Richland, WA; and her daughter, Christy Parrott of Henderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shea Glasscock, Andrew Parrott, and Hannah Jane Parrott; and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Mae Jones. Jane shared a deep and unbreakable bond with her sisters, Linda Gooding and husband Greg, and Debbie Todd and husband Richard. She is also survived by her treasured aunt, Dorothy Hunt. Jane is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Pallbearers will be Andrew Parrott, Greg Gooding, Richard Todd, Mike Eberhard, Kevin Green, Brayden Loosier, John Eberhard, and Jett Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Jordan, Danny Jordan, Jake Jordan, and Cannon Terry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Volunteer Christian Builders at First Baptist Church, 207 W Main St, Henderson, TX 75652.
