Mrs. Isabel "Bibble" Pepper

Funeral services for Mrs. Isabel "Bibble" Pepper, 86, of Laneville, will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Bro. Brady Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Laneville Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service time on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the funeral home. Mrs. Pepper passed away April 13, 2026, in Nacogdoches. She was born May 13, 1939, in Rusk County, to Harvey A. and Jimmie Elizabeth (Bundrick) Little and graduated from Laneville High School. Bibble, as she was affectionately known, married the love of her life, Gerald Pepper, in 1957. She and Gerald were married for 59 years until his passing in 2016. Bibble was, first and foremost, a housewife and mother to three wonderful children, and occasionally she worked various jobs to stay busy, and even owned a Christian book store in Jacksonville. Bro. Pepper pastored many churches over the years, and Bibble taught children and youth in Sunday School at the churches he pastored. She also loved music and served many of the churches as a pianist or an organist. Bibble also worked with Sunbeams and Girls Auxiliary programs through the years. When Bibble had the opportunity, she enjoyed sewing, oil painting, and many other types of crafts. She also loved flowers and enjoyed being able to plant and care for them as well as admire their beauty. Bibble was a member of First Baptist Church of Laneville. Mrs. Pepper was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Jimmie Little; husband of 59 years, Bro. Gerald Pepper; sisters, Martha Rue Little, Tempy Dora Robertson, Virginia Dale Woolverton; and brothers, Elton Ray Little, and James Ricky Little. Survivors include her son, Tom Pepper and wife Lavayne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughters, Paula Ingle and husband Jimmy of Laneville, Martha Gresham and husband Chuck of Cushing; brother, Harvey Little, Jr. and wife Sherry; sisters, Rachael Ann Wade, Betty Sue Stanley; sister-in-law, Kimberly Little; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
