Mrs. Faye Timmons

Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Timmons, 99, of Brachfield, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise with Bro. Pete Underwood and Johnny Penney officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Timmons passed from this life to her home in Glory on August 1, 2026, in Henderson, just 10 days after her 99th birthday. She was born on July 23, 1927, in Louann, Arkansas and has lived in Rusk County since 1983. Mrs. Timmons was married to Harold for 64 years until he went to be with the Lord in 2009. Faye was a faithful Christian for all of her life. She was saved in the 50’s and was a member of Harmony Baptist. From there, she was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist as a mission then into an organized church. She spent the last 23 years as a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt Enterprise. Mrs. Timmons joined in 2003 and at this time was the oldest member. She was faithful to God until her life on Earth ended. Grannie’s prayers were passionate. She prayed fervently and faithfully with a bold, beautiful confidence. She was a wise counselor offering godly wisdom, comfort and truth. If you asked Grannie for advice, be prepared, she was going to be painfully honest. That is one of the many things we loved and respected most. We know that she is walking the streets of gold with our Lord today. She was preceded in death by her father Edgar Haynes, mother Leona (Barnard) McMullan and husband C.W., husband of 64 years Harold D. Timmons, son Eddie Gene Strube, sisters Ella Mae Moore and Clois Cook, and her son-in-law Kenneth Miley. Survivors include her daughter Becky Miley of Brachfield; sons James Michael Timmons and wife Debbie of Pasadena, Harold Loyd Timmons and wife Charlene of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Robert Kelly Timmons and wife Sherry of Pearland; sister Lois Triplet of Springhill, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
