Mr. Edward "Ed" H. Parault Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward "Ed" H. Parault Jr., 90, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Keithville, Louisiana with Rev. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 17, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, April 18, at First Baptist Church in Keithville. Mr. Parault passed from this life on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1933, in Caspiana, Louisiana to the late Edward Parault Sr. and Hazel Parault. Mr. Parault retired as the owner of Ed’s Glass Shop and was a member of First Baptist Church of Keithville. He loved spending time with family and friends, and he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and telling tall tales and funny stories. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Virginia Parault; his infant son, Charles Edward Parault; sisters, Lena Bell Aubin, Margaret Lester, and Emma Mae Merlo; and brothers, Willie Parault, M L Parault, and Bobby Parault. Survivors include Barbara Thomas; his loving children, Cathy Call and husband Jack of Shreveport, Louisiana, Alver Ray Parault and wife Lisa of Henderson, Renee Propes and husband Steve of Atlanta, and Tricia Sears and husband Jayson of Henderson; grandchildren, Danny Call and wife Jessica, Amanda Morgan and husband Chris, Melissa Parault, Justin Tabor and wife Allie, Tiffany Allen and husband Daniel, Randy Propes and wife Brittany, Mat Propes, Tori Lee, and Cali Sears; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Dylan, and Reed Call, Jonah Morgan, Aleiace, Jaylei, and Ryker Tabor, and Liston, Logan, Lindi, and Lawson Propes; and sister, Betty Neel and husband Eddy of Keithville, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Danny Call, Chris Morgan, Randy Propes, Mat Propes, Justin Tabor, and Daniel Allen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Keithville Building Fund at 6295 Williams Rd., Keithville, LA 71047.
