Miss Dina J. Martinez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Miss Dina J. Martinez, 34, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Father Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 14, at the funeral home. Miss Martinez passed from this life on February 11, 2025, in a Tyler hospital. She was born December 19, 1990, in Henderson where she lived all of her life. Dina graduated from Henderson High School in 2009 and was a talented soccer player. She loved music and was very creative, especially with drawing. Dina was a wonderful and loving person to her core, and she so enjoyed being an aunt to “her kids”, her 10 nieces and nephews. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Jude’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Dina O. Martinez, and her grandparents Ciriaco and Rosa Emilia Martinez. Survivors include her father Jose Martinez, sisters Glenda Villanueva and husband Rodrigo, and Jancy Martinez, her cousin Vicki Gonzalez who was more like a sister, nieces and nephews Ashlee R., Bryan V., Allison S., Kevin G., Xavier V., Yazaira V., Ethan B., Gianna G., Erik B., and Leandro V., all of Henderson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Rogelio Bazaldua, Rodrigo Villanueva, Ismael Garza Jr., Julio Mejorado, Juan Corpus, Victor Linares, Juan Jose Reyes and Alfredo Gonzalez. Dina era una persona maravillosa y cariñosa y disfrutaba mucho de ser tía de "sus hijos", sus 10 sobrinas y sobrinos. Era de fe católica y asistía a la iglesia católica de San Judas.
