Mrs. Ashley Dianna Ivy

Ashley Dianna Ivy left this earth to join our heavenly father on the evening of Friday, October 3, 2014. During her 31 years, Ashley brought tremendous joy to numerous family and friends. She was a kind person, with a gentle spirit, and above all a devoted Christian who came to know the lord at a young age. Ashley was born in Magnolia, Arkansas, however, she was a life-long resident of East Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Dean Register officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Oct 5 at the funeral home. Ashley was a graduate of Henderson High School and earned her degree in legal studies from Kilgore College. She was most recently employed as a Title Clerk at Pippin Motor Company in Carthage. Ashley met Rusty Ivy, a Henderson Fire Fighter, in 2004 and they married two years later in 2006. Together, Ashley and Rusty enjoyed outdoor activities, attending church, and making the house they purchased in Carthage last year a home for themselves and their pets. Ashley loved all animals and could often be found caring for her own and others in need. She enjoyed traveling, photography, visiting with her friends, and spending time with family. However, what she will be remembered for most is her love of the Lord, her kindness towards everyone, infectious smile, and personality. Ashley is preceded in death by her Nanny Dortha Parr, Grandfather Ernest Green and Uncle Jimmy Green. She is survived by her Husband of eight years Rusty Ivy of Carthage, her Mother Darla Parr of Henderson, Father Kevin Green of Homer, Louisiana, Mother and Father-in-Law, Danny and Marie Ivy of Carthage, Grandfather Doyle Parr of Henderson, and Grandmother, Nell Green. Additionally, Step Sisters Jennifer Stovall and Julie Quinton and her husband Tracy, all of Tyler. Aunts Carol Duniven and her Husband Alan of Dallas and Sue Green of Crossett Arkansas, Brother and Sister-in-laws Jeff and Amanda Ivy of Carthage, Troy and Meshell Scott of Athens. Cousins April Weeks of Dallas, Jason Weeks and his wife Christy of Danville, CA, Justin and Carrie Green and Amy and Zach Jackson of Crossett Arkansas, and Kelly and Josh McCartney of Zachary, Louisiana, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pallbearers are Jeff Ivy, Justin Jones, Anthony Eaton, Justin Green, Michael Little, and Troy Suddarath. Honorary pallbearers are Graham Jones, Troy Scott, J.P.
