Mr. Vicente Bernal Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Vicente Bernal Sr, 69, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Father Jay Lucas officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 14, at the funeral home with a rosary to start at 7:00 PM. Mr. Bernal passed from this life on November 7, 2024, at a local assisted living facility. He was born December 2, 1954, in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was raised in Santa Rita, NL and has lived in Henderson since 1977. Vicente was a carpenter by trade and had a green thumb for working in his garden. He enjoyed working around the house and was known to be a good cook. He also was thrilled by watching WWE wrestling. Mr. Bernal was a family man. He so enjoyed family gatherings with his children and grandchildren where lots of love and laughter was shared. He also loved to help others and has been a long-time member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father Emeterio Bernal. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Donna Bernal of Henderson; mother, Graciela Bernal Perez of Santa Rita, NL, Mexico; children, Alejandro Bernal and wife Mary, Maria Bernal, Donna Bernal and husband Alex Andrade, Veronica Carrizales and husband Armando, Vicente Bernal Jr and wife Rebecca, all of Henderson, Lori Bernal of Cypress, and Marcos Antonio Bernal and wife Carolina of Henderson; grandchildren, Alexis, Slater, Francisco, Nathan, Christian, Danita, Lori, Jose, Ruben, Osmar, Marcela, Maya, Brianna, Yuvia, Vicente III, Abigail, Camila, Marcos Jr, and Bruno; great-grandchildren, Soleil and Akira; brothers and sisters, Primitivo Bernal Perez of Santa Rita, NL, Mexico, Francisco Bernal Perez and Tano Bernal Perez of Henderson, Zenaida Bernal Perez and Maria Graciela Bernal Perez of Santa Rita, NL, Mexico, and Cuberto Bernal Perez of Henderson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Alejandro Bernal, Vicente Bernal Jr, Marcos Antonio Bernal, Francisco Gregorio Salazar, Ricardo Fajardo, Rafael Fajardo, Marvin Andrade, and Alex Andrade. Honorary pallbearers will be Valente Fajardo, Perry Keen, Armando Carrizales, Primitivo Bernal Perez, Cuberto Bernal Perez, Francisco Bernal Perez, Tano Bernal Perez, Patrick Brown, John Anderson, David Salazar, and Amanda Sergio.
