Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Tasha Renee Turner, 50, of Timpson, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Pastor Derrick Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Crow Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 30, at the funeral home. Ms. Turner was born July 17, 1971, in Houston and passed from this life on July 28, 2021, in Timpson. She has lived in Timpson since 2003 and had previously lived in Henderson. Tasha had been a clerk and cook for E-Z Mart, but her favorite job was that of “Mom” and “Gigi.” She was also known as "Aunt Tasha" to most of the Timpson Community. She loved to be around her family and friends and so enjoyed her morning routine on the front porch with her coffee and a cigarette. Tasha was outgoing, friendly, and helpful to her family and friends alike. She had also been a member and was attending New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Earl Turner; grandparents, Joe Alvin Turner, Faustine Turner, Cecil McEntire, and Lorene McEntire; uncles, Thomas Tidwell and Joe Fred Turner; and aunt, Kay Birdwell. Survivors include her mother, Sara Ollis and husband Ben of Tatum; children, Egypt Turner Randall and husband Kenneth of Center, and Patrick Turner of Tenaha; siblings, Jack Turner of Henderson, Shana Bearden of Timpson, Elvis Rawlinson and wife Jennifer of Conroe, and Mike Rawlinson of Henderson; 5 grandchildren, Kriss O'Neal Randall, Jaylen Evon Turner, Ariana Raythen Turner, Braci, and Brantlee Zayn Hensley; nieces and nephews, Courtney Richardson, Brittney Bearden, Lil Man Bearden, Jeffery Turner, Michaela Rawlinson, Brylie Rawlinson, Kinlee Rawlinson, and Caleb Rawlinson; aunt, Janice Jimmerson; uncle, Jerry Mack Turner; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, other family and many friends. The family would like to say a special word of thanks to the staff at Garrison Nursing Home and Hospice of Deep East Texas, especially Miss Winnie. They would also like to acknowledge Tasha's sister, Shana, for all of her special attention and care. Pallbearers will be Patrick Turner, Mike Rawlinson, Jonathon Bearden, Robert Lee Glazier, Bobby Bearden, and Cole Richardson.
