Mr. Shane Krajewski

A Memorial Visitation to celebrate the life of Mr. Shane Krajewski, 51, of Henderson, will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Mr. Krajewski passed from this life on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born on April 14, 1970 in Ogallala, Nebraska. Shane graduated from Henderson High School in 1988 and went on to attend the East Texas Police Academy, graduating in 1995. He later attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2005 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences. Mr. Krajewski worked for the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office from 1995 – 2006 and served as a jailer, deputy, investigator, and served in the crime prevention/crime stoppers office. During this time, Shane was a graduate of the 50th class of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas Leadership Command College and participated in an international police exchange with Poland in 2006. In August of 2006, he joined the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as an agent where he also served as a firearms instructor. Mr. Krajewski retired in February 2022 after 27 years of service to the public. Survivors include his wife 19 years, Becky Krajewski of Henderson; father, Mike Krajewski of Henderson; mother, Pam Krajewski of Longview; mother-in-law, Joyce Story of Hideaway Lake Texas; father-in-law, Don Story and wife Cathy of Florence, South Carolina; brothers-in-law, Brian Story and wife Katsue of Misawa, Japan, and Tim Story and wife Karen of Midlothian; nephews; Samuel Story, Kade Story, and Brody Story; and niece, Stephanie Story.
