Mr. Ronald D. Vestal, 66, of Reklaw, passed from this life on May 25, 2021, at Palestine Healthcare in Palestine. He was born July 12, 1954, in Overton and lived most of his life in Turnertown and Selman City having also spent several years in Reklaw. Mr. Vestal spent a career as a heavy equipment operator in the oil field building drilling rig pads. He also prided himself on his ability to operate a motor grader. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Vestal; mother, Helen Wade; and brother, Steven R. Vestal. Survivors include his sons, Chris Vestal of Selman City, and Jacob Vestal of Rusk; grandchildren, Joshua and Heather Vestal; as well as a host of other family and friends.
