Mrs. Rita Rogers Blackwell

March 12, 1946 - April 27, 2022

Graveside services for Mrs. Rita Blackwell, 76, of Laneville will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Laneville Cemetery with Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the funeral home. Mrs. Blackwell passed from this life on April 27, 2022. She was born March 12, 1946 in Henderson to Ross and Emma (Williams) Rogers. Mrs. Blackwell retired from Dr. Springfield's office after working as a receptionist for twenty five years. She attended Tripp Baptist Church in Sunnyvale Texas and was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson, where she was a part of the Grace Sunday School Class. Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Emma Rogers; husband, Jesse Austin Blackwell; and brothers, Kennith Rogers, and Benny Rogers. Survivors include her children, Lesa Partin and husband Craig of Laneville, Blane Blackwell of Longview, Lori Akins and husband Eddie of Sunnyvale; sister, Rossie Coker of Nederland; grandchildren, Jesse Partin, Morgan Partin, Raven Partin, Austin Blackwell, Ethan Akins, Lance Akins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends. Pallbearers will be Titus Clark, Travis Coker, Chris Gentry, Sammy Rogers, Rex Rogers, Travis Rogers, and Brent Blackwell.
