Graveside services for Mr. Marvin Hardy, 79, of Pine Hill, will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Bridges Cemetery with Jimmy Hardy officiating. A committal will follow under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday. Mr. Hardy passed away on April 1, 2017 in Tyler. He was born on February 25, 1938 in San Augustine, Texas to Curtis Hardy and Edna (Cox) Hardy. He worked as a pipeline superintendent and lived in Rusk County for over 50 years. Preceding Mr. Hardy in death were his parents; brother, Earl Hardy; and sisters, Bobbie Engleman and Elaine Patterson. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hardy of Henderson; sons, Steve Hardy and late wife Sharon of Henderson, Ricky Hardy and wife Angela of Henderson, and Randy Hardy of Henderson; daughter, Stephanie Johnson and husband Jim of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Jimmy Hardy and wife Peggy of San Augustine, Marlin Hardy and wife Lanell of Center, and Paul Hardy and wife Linda of Bunkie, Louisiana; sisters, Doris Loggins of Lufkin, Jo Trahan and husband Johnny of Lafayette, Louisiana, Ople Hayden and husband Truman of Wills Point, and Diane Sullivan and husband Clivie; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be Christopher Hardy, Ethan Hardy, Joshua Hardy, Matthew Hardy, Joel Hardy, and Chad Welch. Condolences may be made at www.crawfordacrim.com.
