Mr. Jesus Luna

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Jesus Luna, 52, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at St. Jude's Catholic Church with Father Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited during visitation at 6:00 pm. Mr. Luna passed from this life on October 15, 2021, at USMD Hospital in Arlington. He was born October 7, 1969, in Henderson and spent most all of his life there. Jesus graduated from West Rusk High School in 1987 and went on to attend Kilgore College. Mr. Luna later became a welding superintendent and previously worked for Shamrock Gulf. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and truly enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and he grilled the best steaks. Mr. Luna liked to dance and was a very talented drummer. He was also a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Luna. Survivors include his wife, Bianca Barletta of the Dominican Republic; father, Arturo Luna Sr. of Henderson; daughters, Leslie Luna and husband Fredy Alvarez of Grand Prairie, and Ashley Luna of Grand Prairie; brothers, Arturo Luna Jr. and wife Leticia of Henderson, and Joe Luna of Tyler; the mother of his children, Sandra Luna and husband Humberto Rangel of Grand Prairie; nephews and nieces, Emiliano Luna, Joe Luna Jr., Olivia Luna, and Melissa Luna; godson, Edson Martinez; as well as a host of other family and many, many friends. Pallbearers will be Arturo Luna Jr., Enrique Perez, Fredy Alvarez, David Vences, Humberto Rangel, and Felipe Guerrero. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Luna.
