Mrs. Exa Faye Ballard, 92, of Henderson, passed from this life on February 6, 2021, at Briarcliff Skilled Nursing Facility in Carthage. She was born January 20, 1929, to the late Emmitt and Laura (Gilbert) Hollingshead. Mrs. Ballard was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ballard; children, Brenda Griffin and Billy Ballard; brothers, Clyde, Floyd, and Henry Hollingshead; sisters, Mae Webb, Iwanda King, Nina Hollingshead, Billie Hollingshead, and Jean Heck. Survivors include her grandsons, Toby Register and wife Jennifer of DeBerry and Terry Register of Henderson; great-grandchildren, Todd, Jillian, and Ty Register, and Kamryn Register; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church at 1406 S. Evenside, Henderson, TX 75654. Memorial services for Mrs. Ballard will be planned at a later date.
