Mrs. Elizabeth Inez Cooper

June 18, 1933 - February 6, 2018

Mrs. Elizabeth Inez Cooper, 84, of Nacogdoches, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches. Elizabeth was born June 18, 1933, in Harris County to mother Annie Inez Vaughn and father John David Palmer. Elizabeth married her husband Albert Archie Cooper. He was a proud veteran and passed away May 13, 1988. Archie was very important to our family. After his death she just stayed home and took care of her kids. Elizabeth spent her whole life raising children. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids Christina, Edward, Julie, Jamie, James, Aaron, Briana, Katelyn, and Angel. She also enjoyed cooking for the family, going to church every Sunday, and singing to Aaron, Briana, and Katelyn before bed. Elizabeth was a faithful Pentecostal lady and was a very good woman. She did no wrong. She gave everyone everything they needed and was there for everyone. Elizabeth was a beloved mom, sister, aunt, and most of all, grandma. You couldn't ask for anyone better than her. She loved her family more than anyone will ever know, and we loved her too. She was preceded in death by her parents John David and Annie Inez Palmer, husband Albert Archie Cooper, children Betty Lavon Cobb and Harland Lord Cooper, siblings Catherine Joyce Palmer, Lily Mae Palmer, John Warren Palmer, and William Henry Palmer. Survivors include sons Arnold Wayne "Slim" Cooper and Ron Glenn Cooper, daughters Marilyn Doris Wooten, Lori Darlene Lee, and Melissa Broussard, brothers J.D. Palmer, Charlie Palmer, James Alfred Palmer, and Douglas Eugene Palmer, grandchildren Mary Christina Cobb, Edward Lee Cobb, Julie Michelle Lee, Jamie Nicole Lee, James Edwin Lee Jr., Angel Honey Cooper, Aaron Gus Miller, Briana Dawn Miller, and Katelyn Nicole Miller, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A private, family service will be held at a later date. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
