Funeral services for Mr. Dalton Jones, 84, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Dr. David Higgs, Rev. Don Edmiston, and Richard Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at the funeral home. Mr. Jones passed from this life on April 9, 2019, at his residence in Henderson. He was born December 12, 1934, to the late Harvey Dalton and Hazel (Harris) Jones and was a life long resident of Rusk County. Dalton served his country in the United States Army and went on to a long career as owner and operator of Jones Dozer Service. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a director of the Young Adult Sunday School class for 35 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jones. Survivors include sisters Gwen Hand of Henderson and Frances Coursey and husband H.D. of Terrell, nephews Bruce Hand and wife Glenda, Kenneth Hand, and Steve Coursey, niece Chris Coursey, great-nieces and nephews Allison Nicolleti and husband Kevin, Kasi Maddox, Kyle Hand, Chandler Coursey, and Colton Coursey, great-great-nephews Fischer Nicolleti and Braxton Miller, and great-great niece Ava Miller. Pallbearers will be Dennis Rivers, Rusty Phenix, Milton McGee, Mike Head, Tony Stone, Tommy Carle, Robert Clark, Don Howard, and Harold Sadler. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church, Ernest Winfrey, and Tim Farley. If desired, memorial donations may be made to GFM Ministries at P.O.
