Mr. Charles Wasson

August 1, 1936 - January 17, 2022

Graveside services for Mr. Charles Wasson, 85, of Henderson, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Neeley Cemetery with Bro. Brady Weaver officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the funeral home. Mr. Wasson passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Weatherford Healthcare Center. He was born August 1, 1936 in Littlefield, TX to the late Joe and Bertice Alma Wasson. Charles graduated from Levelland High School, and went on to work as a shift supervisor for Amoco in the oil and gas industry. Charles loved to work, and held more than one job to help support his family in the early days. He was a loving husband and father, who took great pride in his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherrill Thompson; and granddaughter, Rachel Libby. Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Patricia Wasson of Henderson; four children, son Charles (Chuck) Wasson, Jr. and wife Janell of Aztec, NM, daughter Vicki Wasson of Henderson, son Joel Wasson and wife Charlotte of Weatherford, and son Kenyon Wasson and wife Kim of Mansfield; sister, Sandra Richardson of Bedford; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
