Ms. Carol King

Funeral services for Ms. Carol King, 73, of Henderson, will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Lionel Whitaker officiating. Graveside committal services will follow at 4 pm on Saturday at Smyrna Cemetery in Fannin County under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Ms. King passed from this life on July 13, 2015 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. She was born September 29, 1941 in Dodd City to the late Clarence and Hazel Hillard Suiter and has lived in Henderson since 1977. Carol owned and operated U Rent It and King's Kourts for several years. She built a reputation for being humorous, honest, and straight forward, and she could hold her own with any man. Carol enjoyed telling her family and friends the latest joke she heard from Joel Osteen, and she loved watching and playing tennis. She didn't really meet a stranger, and even though she may not have known them, they left as friends and knew that she loved them. Carol was a woman of faith and wanted anyone she met to know about Jesus. She was certainly proud of her children and loved them unconditionally, no matter what they may have done. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Dwight, Truitt, Paul, Naomi, Shelia, and Charlene. Survivors include her children Angie King and Leslie King of Henderson, Kerry Robinson and wife Kim of Tatum, Trina Freeman and husband Randy of Tyler, and Harland King and wife Cheryl of Eureka Springs, AR., her sister Jeanne Leslie, grandchildren Kennedy and Lincoln Cox, and Amy Robinson, granddog Tommi, numerous nieces and nephews, and very special friends Howard Davis, Cali Quintero, and Zulema Munoz as well as many others. Due to the love and joy that she had in her heart for everyone that she knew or met, Carol wanted you all to be honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Homeplace at 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, TX 75701, the Henderson Animal Shelter at 400 W.
