Funeral services for Mr. Cade Patrick Caviness, 19, of Longview, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Mobberly Baptist Church with Bro. Gregg Zackary officiating. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, at the church. Cade passed from this life on January 30, 2022, in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born November 1, 2002, in Longview where he lived most of his life with the exception of a few years in Beaumont. Cade was saved and baptized at a young age at Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont and was later a member of Praise Church in Beaumont. He also attended and was an active participant in the youth group at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview. Cade worked as a freelance construction hand and was instinctively good with heavy equipment, and he also enjoyed CrossFit. Cade had an unending well of love for everyone. He loved spending time with his family and fellowshipping with friends and good music. Cade was passionate with his emotions and had eyes and a smile that could light up the room. He is survived by his father, Roger Caviness and wife Pamela "Mama" of Longview; mother, Misty Thibodeaux and husband John of Sour Lake; grandparents, Sue "Maw" Caviness of Longview, Alice "Granny" Colicher of Georgetown, Curtis "Pops" Colicher and wife Crystal of Lumberton, John Kelley and wife Pam of Kilgore, and Pam Joslin and husband Michael of North Carolina; great-grandparents, Carl and Betty Colicher of Lumberton, and Mary Lynn Braquet of Port Arthur; siblings, Alexis Herring and husband Kyle of Fannett, Chase Caviness, Christian Caviness, Cal Caviness, and Connor Caviness, all of Longview; uncle, Brandon Colicher and wife Amy and their children of Liberty Hill; as well as a host of other family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Chase Caviness, Spencer Powell, Derek Jones, Parker Wiley, Josh Sanders, Reese Blair, and J.T. Markowitz.
