Mr. Bobby H. Blackmon

April 1, 1944 - August 2, 2021

Graveside services for Mr. Bobby H. Blackmon, 77, of Tatum, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Tatum Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Ray Smith officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends before and after the service at the cemetery on Saturday. Mr. Blackmon passed from this life on August 2, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 1, 1944, in Tatum to the late William Howard and Mary Frances (Hunt) Blackmon. Bobby spent most all of his life in Tatum and graduated from Tatum High School. After honorable service to his country in the United States Air Force, Mr. Blackmon became an expert welder and worked for several companies all over the U.S. and abroad, including LeTourneau Technologies where he was a supervisor. Bobby was also a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Tatum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Ronda Blackmon; sister, Sue Stowe; uncle, Earl Blackmon; and father-in-law, Donny LeJeune. Survivors include his close friends and caregivers, Phil and Joy Cory and their family; a daughter, Carrie and her family; nieces, Danette Cook, Marinda Dockery, Marissa Mitchell, and Ana Mitchell; nephews, Mark Stowe, Alex Mitchell, and Jonathon Dockery; great-nieces, Raylee and Karlee Dockery; mother-in-law, Judy LeJeune; sisters-in-law, Glenna Mitchell and Jennifer Dockery; as well as a host of other family and many friends. All are invited to a reception that will be held in the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church in Tatum following the service.
