Mr. Billy D. Conway Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Mr. Billy D. Conway, 90, of Magnolia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, at the funeral home. Mr. Conway passed from this life on February 18, 2022, at his home in Magnolia. He was born February 9, 1932, in Rusk County to the late Andrew W. Conway Sr. and Bina (Henigan) Conway and has been a resident of Magnolia since 2001. Billy retired as a supervisor for Kirkpatrick Builders in The Woodlands after 50 plus years in the construction business. In his spare time, he loved fishing, had a knack for gardening, and enjoyed playing dominoes with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 58 years, Lovena Conway; son, Billy Joe Conway; and 5 siblings. Survivors include his daughters, Karen E. Conway of Magnolia, and Vicky Willis and husband David of Magnolia; brother, Jim Conway of Henderson; sister, Elaine Conway Johnson and husband Wayne of Hope, Arkansas; grandchildren, Katie Conway, Jessica Beuer, Caleb Conway, and Dylan Tillinghast; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
