Mrs. Ada Edna Hardy

July 14, 1931 - February 25, 2021

Graveside services for Mrs. Ada Edna Hardy, 89, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Moyers Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Hogg officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. A register book will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 and from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021 through Tuesday, March 2, 2021 for friends and family to come and sign and pay their respects to Mrs. Hardy. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, masks or face coverings are strongly recommended, however not required, for the health and safety of all those in attendance for a visitation or service. Mrs. Hardy passed away February 25, 2021 in Henderson. She was born July 14, 1931 in Shelby County, Texas to the late Buford and Lola Askew. She was a homemaker and was a member of Highway 79 Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hardy; and her son, Tony Hardy. 7 siblings, B.B. Askew, Erma Paige, Lillie Stephens, Walter Jack Askew, Thomas Askew, Travis Askew and J.E. Askew. Survivors include her son, Charles Randy Hardy of Colorado; brother, Vernon Askew of Laporte; sister Myrline Bradshaw of Center; sister-in-law, Johnnie Hardy Wood; grandchildren, Jesse Hardy, Lucas Hardy, Thane "T.J." Hardy, Keely Hardy; Great Grandchildren Trey, Cullen and Kaysen Hardy; her "adopted family," Sherri Wendl of Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Askew, Steve Askew, Doug Askew, Kevin Dollins, Jiffy Dukes, and Bobby Prim. The family would like to say a special thank you to the unsung hero's of the staff of Brookdale and AssistCare for everything they did for Mrs. Hardy.
