Mr. Todd Springfield

Celebration of the life for Todd Springfield of Laneville, will be held at Crawford A Crim 2:00pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, with Samuel Sadler and Jacob Davis, officiating, under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home. Family will receive visitors prior to the service at 1:00pm. A private family burial will follow at Laneville Cemetery. Mr. Springfield passed peacefully from this life May 27, 2024. He was born October 28, 1963 to the late Dr. Harold J Springfield and wife Arleene Springfield of Henderson. A lifelong resident of Rusk County Mr. Springfield, graduated from Henderson High School, He served his community as a member of Mt Enterprise Volunteer Fire and EMS Department, Laneville Volunteer Fire Department, and Laneville Water Supply. He enjoyed serving others as a nurse, a friend, and dear companion. During his career, Mr. Springfield worked for Henderson Clay Products, Med-Safe, Henderson Memorial Hospital, At Home Health Care, Assist Care, later retired from Christus Good Shepard of Longview. He was a long-time member of Laneville Baptist Church, and currently an active member of Bethel Bible Henderson. During his nursing career, he enjoyed serving and helping his patients. Often sharing his faith in Jesus Christ while helping his fellow man. He often expressed, his unwavering commitment to his wife, Tina and his children, Travis, and Trenton, and his grandchildren Lyla and Lane, who were the lights of his life. A devoted husband, and father, who cherished time with his family, and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Tina Springfield; sons, Travis Springfield and wife Kayla of Laneville, and Trenton Springfield of Laneville; sisters, Gaye Haskins, and husband Dr. Tony Haskins, of Nacogdoches, Taryn Howell, and husband Harold Howell, of Henderson, Vicki Sadler, and husband Rick Sadler of Henderson, and brother Scott Springfield and wife Michelle of Henderson, mother in law Jean Moore, Brother in Law Charles Moore and wife Amy Moore of Long Branch, his precious grandchildren Lyla Springfield, and Lane Springfield of Laneville, and a host of nieces and nephews, and dearly beloved friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to The Hospice of East Texas Staff and acknowledge their loving care of our family.
