Mr. Steven L. Graham

Funeral services for Mr. Steven L. Graham, 66, of Laneville, will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, July 18, at the funeral home. Mr. Graham passed from this life on July 16, 2024, in a Longview hospital. He was born July 13, 1958, in Henderson to the late Wallace and Joan (Crawford) Graham. He lived all of his life in Rusk County and attended West Rusk schools. Early in his career, Steven owned and operated S&D Contractors, offering painting and sand blasting services. He really was a “jack of all trades” though and was knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, construction, and just about anything you could name. He had a talent for mechanics and enjoyed restoring old vehicles, namely his ’79 Jimmy. He was an all-around piddler, a true “southern engineer.” Steven loved hunting and fishing, riding motorcycles, and scuba diving. He was an all-around outdoorsman. Above all, Mr. Graham was a husband, father, brother, devoted “Papa” and was always there when you needed him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Iva and Early Graham; sister Carolyn Willeford and husband Mike, brother Terry Wayne Graham, grandson Joshua Ryker Lipstein, son-in-law Joshua Lipstein MA2, and father-in-law Dean Atwood. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Deena Graham of Laneville; mother and father-in-law, Ann and Richard Hudson of Henderson; daughters, Stephanie Lipstein and husband Andrew, Ashley Hogue and husband Brandon, and Leslie Lipstein and son in law, Corry Pierce, all of Henderson; also the son he never had, his loyal dog, Max; sister, April McClure of Liberty City; grandchildren, Colton Patterson and Katie, Austin Patterson and wife Roxanne, Madison Branham, Kyler Lipstein, Logan Johnson, Brayden Hogue, Tristan Hogue, Greyson Hogue, Kaydence Hogue, Michael Pierce, Mathew Graham, and Jayden Lipstein; 11 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, and many other family and friends.
