Mrs. Pamela Jo "PJ" Wilson

Memorial services for Mrs. Pamela Jo "PJ" Wilson, 60, of Henderson, will be held at 3PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the chapel of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilson was born in Nashville, TN on November 1, 1955 and passed May 16, 2016 surrounded by her family and close friends. PJ was a resident of Henderson for the last 35 years. In that time, she worked as an aide in the Henderson school district, and was an Administrative Assistant to the Rusk County Sheriff. While these were her professions, her life's work was the loving and nurturing of those around her. PJ's love and compassion for those she knew and met, especially those she knew needed her, was her unique gift. PJ took in, mentored and mothered numerous children while her own were young, and many of them stayed in contact and remained close to this day. She selflessly took in and cared for family and friends when they were sick or in need. PJ had a smile for every stranger and an unprecedented capacity for love and compassion. She adored her husband Rick, her daughters Aisha and Jessica, her son-in-laws Casey and Chris, and her grandchildren Trey, Addy, Owen, and Tyler. PJ took enormous pride in her family, and loved them boundlessly. Sleepovers with grandchildren, and phone calls and visits on the porch with family and friends were her favorite pastimes. PJ had the heart of an angel while on earth and is certain to spend eternity loving and caring for those she left behind. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband Richard Wilson, her daughter Aisha Cliburn and her husband Casey Cliburn from Nashville, TN, her daughter Jessica Rhudy and her husband Chris Rhudy from Henderson, TX, and her four grandchildren Trey Emmert, Addy Rhudy, Owen Rhudy, and Tyler Cliburn. She is also survived by her sister Janet Bullington and her husband Frank Bullington, her brother Ronnie Norris of Cookeville, TN, Nell and Jim Gentry, Ray Mathis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. PJ was blessed and survived by numerous lifelong and devoted friends, most notably, her sister-by-choice, Frances Bloomquist. Preceding her in death were her parents Grady Shipman and Ethelene Barfield, and siblings Randal Norris, Gary Shipman, Sherry Hedgepath, and Marion Shipman.
