Mrs. Mary Louise Bridges

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Bridges, 94, of Pine Hill, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rayford Beall and Don Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow at Bridges Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at the funeral home. Mrs. Bridges passed from this life on January 20, 2023, at her residence. She was born October 28, 1928, in Rusk County to the late Angus and Vara (Allred) Jimmerson and has lived in the East Texas area since the mid 1960s. Mary retired as a press operator for Anderson-Hickey and has been a long-time member of County Line Christian Fellowship Church. She was a very Godly woman who didn't just speak but lived a Christian life. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and plants, taking care of pets, and she loved to read and listen to gospel music. She had also previously been active with the red hat ladies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Glen Bridges, son John Wesley Bridges, daughter Mary Pugh, grandson Jeffrey Len Marshall, and brothers and sisters Opaline Wallace, William Jimmerson, Betty Mayden, and Albert Jimmerson. Survivors include her children, David Bridges and wife Debra of Kilgore, Kathy Bridges Sharp of Pine Hill, Jerry Bridges of Pine Hill, and Pam George and husband Waylon of Paxton; sisters-in-law, Maxine Bridges of Hampton Georgia, and Billie Payne of Greenville; grandchildren, Ashley Kilby, Diana Dunn, Jacqueline McDonald, Waylon George, Summer George, Livi George, and John Pugh; 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; close friend, Joan McName; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family would also like to acknowledge and express their sincere appreciation to Hospice Plus including caregivers Crystal, Tracy, and Charla for their excellent and loving care for Mrs. Bridges.
