Mrs. Lynn F. Courcier

Margaret Lynn Few Courcier, 62, of Selman City, TX, returned to her heavenly home on December 29, 2020, in Tyler, TX, after a valiant battle with pneumonia. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God gave her strength and peace during her illness. Lynn was born to the late Loy Winston and Marrion Faye Few in Houston, TX, on November 05, 1958. She was blessed with a large and loving family. She was married for 44 years to her best friend, James Daniel Courcier. Together, they raised three daughters, and currently have three beloved furry children. Lynn graduated from Kilgore College with a degree in Drafting, which she enjoyed working with at her job. She loved drawing new designs and artistry came naturally to her. She could freehand draw nearly anything and found peace in her craft. Lynn also loved to travel and did so as often as possible with her family and friends. She had an eye for catching unique scenery and was an avid photographer early in life. She also loved to fish! Her greatest passion, however, was her faith in God. She was an active member of Selman City Christian Church, and enjoyed working with the children and youth. She loved teaching “her church kids” about God and how to show His love to those around them, and they loved her dearly in return. During her short time on this earth, Lynn touched each person she came across. It was her mission to make others feel noticed and loved, while being a faithful servant. Lynn overcame cancer 12 years ago and defied restraints while recovering from a triple bypass in January 2020. She lived her life to the fullest and squeezed every drop of love that she could out of each moment. She is survived by her husband, Danny; her daughters and sons-in-law, Ramona and Steven Humphrey (Barling, AR), Amanda and Tony Goff (Alto, TX), and Angela and Carl Lane (Bullard, TX). She is also survived by six grandchildren: Tanner and Morgan Goff Hopson, Mary Goff, and Megan, Matthew, Mason and Mollie Humphrey, and a great-grandson, Ryder Hopson, who is due to join her family in March 2021. Also, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Judith Few, and Randall and Michelle Few, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Faye Few; a sister, Teresa Few; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Anna Few. Pallbearers are: Matthew Humphrey, Tanner Hopson, Ethan Few, Jathan Few, TJ Newby, and Jacob Few. Honorary Pallbearers are: Grandson, Mason Humphrey, and church youth members, Andrik Rocha, and Brent Anderson. Visitation will be Friday, January 01, 2021, from 6-8pm at Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 02, 2021, at 2 pm at Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home with burial and graveside to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson, TX. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
