Jeremy Neal Raner

Jeremy Neal Raner, son of Christy and Glenn Holladay of Henderson and Justin Raner of Anna, Texas and special friend Kathy Aaron of Sherman, Texas, departed this earthly life to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the age of 19. Jeremy was born on March 26, 1990 in Sherman, Texas. He was preceded in death by his step grandfather, Joe Weber of Sherman, Texas. Jeremy was loved by all who knew him and had many close friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was a 2008 graduate of Henderson High School and was an active member of First Baptist Church Henderson; he also enjoyed being a summer camp counselor at Free Will Baptist Church Whispering Pines Summer Youth Camp in Laneville, Texas. Jeremy was employed by MTC Correctional Facility. He was an avid, energetic outdoorsman, which included golf, hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family.Jeremy had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up any room. He had aspirations to minister youth and always had a gentle hand with animals. Jeremy was always willing to help out a friend or loved one.Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Wallace, Caleb Lee, Dalton Orr, Brock Vinson, Travis Springfield, and Josh Voss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zac Holladay, Cody Tucker, and Scott Fuhrman. Jeremy is survived by parents Christy and Glenn Holladay of Henderson, Justin Raner of Anna; sister Amanda and Husband Scott Fuhrman of Sherman; brother Greg Raner of Bullard; step-brother Zac Holladay of Henderson; grandmother Margaret Weber of Sherman; grandparents Clyde and Frances Tucker of Laneville; step-grandparents Glenn and Caroline Holladay of Conroe; grandfather John Raner Sr., of Peabody, Kansas; great grandmother Maidee Seward of Bloomington, Indiana, one very special nephew, Van Fuhrman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and co workers.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Henderson with Dr. Greg Johnson, Rev. Frank Teat, and Rev. David Rudd officiating. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Crawford-A.
