Rev. Glen M. Ketchum

Funeral services for Rev. Glen M. Ketchum, 92, of Henderson will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the Chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Roger Hoffpowier, Rev. Terrill Pearson and Rev. David Baze officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the funeral home. Rev. Ketchum passed away October 26, 2024 in Hallsville. He was born March 9, 1932 in Monterey, LA to Walter Carl and Mary Mae Huckeby Ketchum. He served his country as a Sgt in US Army at Ft. Bragg, NC in the early 1950’s. Brother Ketchum loved the Lord and enjoyed being a pastor. He pastored Calvary Assembly of God for the past twenty-nine years. He has been a resident of Henderson since 1995. Brother Ketchum loved his family and his church families. He served as a minister for the past 60 years. He served as Presbyter of the Longview Section of the Assemblies of God. He also enjoyed singing and was a big supporter of the Fairfield Children’s Home. Glen and Opal shared 71 years of marriage. They were always together. Opal passed away on October 20, 2024 and six days later on October 26, 2024 Glen passed away. Her funeral service was just beginning when he took his last breath. It is a true love story as they are together once again. Rev. Ketchum was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Ketchum; parents, Walter Carl and Mary Mae Ketchum; siblings, Inez Ketchum, C.W. Ketchum, Dovie Iwilla Carroll, Tommy Ketchum, Oneita Miller; granddaughter, Betsy Green Collier; great-grandson, Samuel Weston Green. Survivors include his brothers, Bobby Ketchum and Charles Ketchum; daughter, Deborah Green and husband Ron; son, Alan Ketchum and wife Donna; grandchildren, Chris Rigsby and wife Cindy, Teresa Bagley and husband Randy, Josh Green and wife Amy, Jonathon Ketchum and wife Van, Jason Ketchum and wife Jeanette; great-grandchildren, Ryan Collier and wife Brooke, Haley Coleman and husband Clay, Garrett Green, Hope Self and husband Tyler, Natalie Green, Cole Buzbee, Clarabel Rigsby, Jace Ketchum, Addison Ketchum, Asher Ketchum, Emma Smith, Ashlyn Smith, Micah Ketchum, Makayla Ketchum; great-great grandchildren, Bryson Collier, Gracie Collier, Heidi Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Special thanks for the care given by Premier Home Care and then Prime Care Hospice.
