Sr. Ezequiel Villanueva

Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Ezequiel Villanueva, 49, of Price, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at St. Jude's Catholic Church with Father Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 18, at the funeral home with the rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mr. Villanueva passed on Friday, June 13, 2025, in Cherokee County. He was born July 25, 1975 in Tula, Mexico and has lived in Price for the last 32 years. Ezequiel was a welder his whole career and worked for Angelina Tank in Lufkin. Mr. Villanueva was a devoted family man and was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Perez, niece who was like a sister Alejandra Villanueva, and brother Mario Villanueva. Survivors include the mother of his children, Sonia Villanueva; father, Pedro Villanueva; daughter Diana Villanueva and her children Alejandro, Aaliyah, Aylin Diaz, daughter Argelia Villanueva, son Ezequiel Villanueva Jr. and wife Danielle and their children Esme and Costa Villanueva, daughter Emely Villanueva and spouse Hector and their children Esteban and Sebastian Garcia, daughter Liliana Villanueva and spouse Ruben and their son Matias Gomez, and daughter Lexi Villanueva; siblings, Petra, Hermilo, Martin, Maricela, Imelda, Amparo, and Maria de La Luz; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Ezequiel Villanueva, Martin Villanueva, Hermilo Villanueva, Adan Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Angel Sanchez, Francisco Narvaez and Adrian Villanueva.
