Funeral services for Mrs. Angela Barnes Stuart, 49, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Townsley officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery near Troup, Texas under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Stuart passed away on February 23, 2026 at her residence. She was born January 10, 1977 in Mississippi to David W. and Linda Louise (Bilbrey) Barnes. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1995 and went on to complete her Associate of Arts degree at Tyler Junior College. On March 13, 2021, Angie married Chase Stuart, in Henderson, Texas. Together they blended a beautiful family that included Chase’s daughter, Josey, and Angie’s son, Caleb. They cherished summer weekends spent on the lake, cruising in their pontoon boat with their beloved dog, Captain Max, never missing an opportunity to enjoy time together outdoors. Angie loved the beach and often said that if she could wear flip flops year-round, she would. Her favorite color was orange, and whenever her flip flops were on her feet, her toes were painted a bright, cheerful orange to match. If you saw Angie, you likely saw a Coke in her hand—especially one from McDonald's, her favorite. Angie will be remembered for the deep love she had for her husband, Chase, her family, and her favorite furry companions—Max, Buddy, and Highway the cat—who brought her constant joy and comfort. Angie was a member of Henderson Church of the Nazarene. Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tommy “Papaw” and Ann “Mamaw” Barnes, Herbert “Boppa” and Louise “Nana” Bilbrey; father-in-law, Gerald Stuart; mother-in-law, Patricia Stuart Brewer. Survivors include her husband Chase Stuart of Henderson; parents, David and Linda Barnes of Tyler; children, Caleb Clements of Lindale, Josey Stuart of Henderson; sister, Michelle Rowley and husband Keith of Nampa, Idaho; father-in-law, Daryl Brewer of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cody Stuart of Henderson, Aron Brewer and wife Elizabeth of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Amanda Brewer of Gainesville, Florida; aunts and uncles, Cathy Downey of Pearl River Louisiana, Kay McDonnell and husband Bob of Madison, Mississippi, John Barnes and wife Ann of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Ron Barnes and wife Patti of Bellevue, Nebraska, Paul Barnes and wife Sandra of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and a host of cousins, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family, and friends. Pallbearers will be Brandon Rowley, Bradley Allen, Blake Allen, Parker Rowley, Cayden Stuart, and Colt Stuart, and John McDonnell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Brandon Allen.
