Mrs. Nelda Ruth Hamilton Brady

Nelda Ruth Hamilton Brady, 72, of Henderson, Tx, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2015 in Tyler, Tx. Family will receive friends at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home, Henderson 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ed Messersmith and Rev. Murl Klink officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park in Henderson under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Nelda was born on April 24, 1943 in Jacksonville, Tx to John Alfred and Susan Ruth Hamilton. She graduated from Carlisle ISD and attended school there from grades 1-12. Nelda married George Mervyn Brady on July 16, 1966 at Marin's Chapel Church of the Nazarene, Concord community, Troup, Tx. She was a beloved wife to George for 49 years of marriage and a loving and caring mother to James Patrick and Christopher. She was a faithful member of the Nazarene Church where she served as the president of the Women's Ministry for many years. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, James Patrick Brady; three brothers, Harry Hamilton, Joe Hamilton, and Murl Ray Hamilton; and her in-laws, George H. and Louise Brady. She is survived by her husband, George Mervyn Brady of Henderson; son, Christopher George Brady of Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Hamilton of Troup, Jess and Jerry Hamilton of Jacksonville, Sammy and Diane Hamilton of Troup, Gary and Linda Hamilton of Tyler, Mel and Pat Hamilton of New Boston, and sister and brothers-in-law Gene and Shirl Nelson of Henderson, and James and Kathy Brady of Henderson. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, 36 great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers are Harry Hamilton, Jr., Mickey Hamilton, Dr. Joey Hamilton, Davey Hamilton, Ken Hamilton, Greg Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Brian Hamilton, Rusty Hamilton, Joey Townley, Rusty Brady, Tim Brady, Terry Reid, Jeff Berryhill, Dr. Vic Bansal, Blake McElroy, Kenneth Staneart, Ferrell Hardy, and Grady Price.
