Funeral Services will be held for Darrell Glenn Owens, 73, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at McKnight Congregational Methodist Church in Cushing. Bro. Arlis Fuller will officiate the Funeral Service immediately followed by Pastor Kevin Holmes officiating committal services in the McKnight Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A Crim funeral Home in Henderson.

Family will receive friends at the Church at Crossbridge (Millville Baptist Church) from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday July 28th. 7 miles North of Hwy 259 on FM 782 turn left into the Millville Baptist Church.

Mr. Owens passed away on July 26, 2012 at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 16, 1938 to Lola Mae Fuller and James Otis Owens in Smith County, TX. Mr. Owens worked in the Auto Industry. Since retiring he enjoyed visiting with family, being a grandfather, and serving as a Sunday School Teacher in the Barnabas Sunday School program teaching in all three Rusk Prisons for the last ten years. He was a Sunday School teacher at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Henderson and a long time member; he had recently been attending the Church at CrossBridge where he touched and inspired many lives.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Benny Owens.

Survivors include his wife Pamela Wagoner Owens of Henderson, daughter Jodi Zollman and husband Barry of Cypress, TX, grandchildren Trey Neal of Houston, TX and Zack Zollman Cypress, TX, Stepson Robert Wagoner and companion Jayde Corwin of Dallas, cousins, Dean and Mary Fuller of Tyler, TX, David and Jeanne Fuller of Waco, Glen and Judy Fuller of Nacogdoches , TX, sister-in-law Barbara Owens and a host of family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "East Texas Chapel Prison Ministries" in care of Trinity Baptist Church attention Ken Hale.
