Elmer James Shepard
May 20, 1918 - March 6, 2012

Funeral services for Mr. Elmer James Shepard, 93, of Norman, OK, formerly of Henderson, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with John Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow in Holleman Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Mr. Shepard passed away March 6, 2012 in Norman, OK. He was born May 20, 1918 in Logan, OK to the late William and Bura Shepard. Mr. Shepard moved to Henderson in 1975 and resided here until 2008. He served in the Army Air Coprs during WWII and was later an aircraft examiner for civil service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Beryl Swinney Shepard; sister, Pauline Russell; and brother, Eugene Shepard.

Survivors include: son, Dane Shepard and wife Cindy of Blanchard, OK; daughter, Joan Shepard of Dixon, CA; sister, Thelma Boyd of Gallup, NM; grandchildren, Nathan Shepard, Kaylan Shepard, and Havilah Wardle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
