Memorial services for Doris K. Jones, 79, formerly of Good Springs, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Olen Rivers and Cantor Peter Villars officiating. Inurnment will follow in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones died Wed., August 1, 2012 in Spring, Tx. She was born Jan. 23, 1933 in Merryville, La to Norward and Dora Kern. She was a retired bookeeper and accountant. Doris attended the Sardis Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace 'Tex' Jones.

Survivors include: three daughters, Thereasa Jones, Gwen Jones, and Texann Jones, all of Spring; two sisters, Charlotte Mathis of DeRidder, La.; and Rose Luttrell of Westlake, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
