Alicia Castro Alvarez

Funeral services for Alicia C. Alvarez, 52, of Henderson, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Mrs. Alvarez was born July 21, 1952 in TAMLS, Mexico. She passed away July 27, 2010 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was recently a newborn Christian, attending church at Bar-None Cowboy Church. Her passion in life was family and cooking, and her great loves were her grandchildren. She had rose-colored glass for them. She will be loved and missed but never forgotten. We will always carry her in our heart. She has gone home to be with her mother and her creator.

She was preceded in death by: mother, Heribertha C. Alvarez; sister, Elena Alvarez; and brother, Jose Luis Alvarez.

Survivors include: daughters, Melissa, Marixa, Myra, and Monica; sons, Margo, Edward, and Felipe; grandchildren, Damion Enriquez, Katlyn Enriquez, Noeli Sanchez, Adrian Padilla; brothers, Carlos Alvarez, Javier Alvarez, and Angel Alvarez; and sisters, Lydia McGuire, Elizabeth Arciga, and Marcy Alvarez.
