Randall Lee Rogers Jr.

Funeral services for Randall "Randy" Lee Rogers Jr., 56, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Thrist officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Mr. Rogers died July 26, 2010, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. He was born July 14, 1954, in Longview. He was a member of Emmanual Baptist Church of Jacksonville. He was a lifetime musician, had a recording studio and loved bluegrass music. He also played bass guitar in the praise team at church.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Janell Rogers.

Survivors include: wife, LaNell Rogers of Jacksonville; father and stepmother, Randall Lee Rogers Sr. and wife Katheryn of Marshall; son, Christopher Adam Rogers of Ashdown, Ark.; brothers, David Rogers and wife Janell of Flint and Mark Rogers and wife Loretta of Tyler; sister, Angela "Kay" Noles and husband Pierre of Dirgin; stepbrother, Ricky Redding and wife Teri of Marshall; and stepsisters, Renae Smith and Rachelle McGrede and husband Ray, all of Marshall.

Pallbearers will be Brennan Vaughn, Don Wicker, Leo Hampton, Aaron Aiken, Billy Capps and Kenneth Jones.
