Funeral services for Elsie Pool Sanders, 88, of Henderson, will be held at
2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev.
Bill Tisdale and Rev. Robert Hall officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Mrs. Sanders died July 15, 2010, at ETMC Tyler. She was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Rusk County and lived all of her life in Henderson. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked at Haden-Brown Drug Store and owned Card Cottage.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by: husbands, Archie Ray Pool and O.E. Sanders; parents, Ralph and Annie McMurray; brothers, Alan McMurray, Crayton McMurray and Sherrill McMurray.

Survivors include: children, Ronnie Pool and wife Judy of Garland, Pat Welch and husband Noble of Henderson, Larry Sanders and wife Sherron of Longview and Roland Sanders and wife "Cel" of Sexton City; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth McMurray of Henderson, Wally McMurray of Port Arthur and Dixie Blackwood of Henderson; grandchildren, Kevin Welch and wife Claudette, Carolyn Nitson and husband Jim, Anthony Pool and wife Lisa, Kim Perry and husband Dr. Mike Peck, Lisa LeStrange and husband Dennis, Sally Combs and husband Tony, Jill Wolfe and husband Jim, Michelle Posey and husband Brian, Shane Sanders and wife Cassandra, Jim Scott and wife Helena, Michael Scott and wife Jenny and Bobby Scott; a host of great-grandchildren; and special daughter-in-law, Liz Foster; and a large number of friends and loved ones

Pallbearers will be Kevin Welch, Anthony Pool, Jim Nitson, William Nitson, Jerry Moore and Roland Sanders.
